not sure about tenant

Hello All,

I have a tenant who is refusing to sign a lease. I have left him into an apartment of mine and he is paying rent but can get him to sign up a lease.. What is he playing at? I could just go down and kick him out...not a problem...but i need his rent to pay the mortgage. Any advice welcome

Be very careful as once they are in your property it is very hard to get them to move.   We had a tenant in our house for a year, not paying rent or utility bills and we had to PAY THEM to leave our property or take them to court to evict them.  We could not even ask for the electric and water to be turned off and she never paid 1 utility bill.  We finally paid her to leave as it was a cheaper option than going to court.

This lady had a contract that she had signed but was never signed by us as she was let in to our property by an agent we did not know who had got the keys from an agent we thought was going to let the house for us!!!

I would suggest that you get him out quick.  Is the short term money really worth the risk?

Get him out..... then change the locks.
