WARNING!
Please be aware that there is a company in the
UK called Driven Management Limited trading as The TT Centre  or the LHD TT Centre based in Grayshott, Surrey who you should avoid at all costs.
This company says they are "Specialist suppliers of new and nearly new
Left Hand Drive vehicles" and their slogan is "If only everything in life is this easy".
Well let me tell you, everything in life IS that easy compared with dealing with the TT Centre!
I approached them and asked them to procure a left hand drive car for me. ** EDITED - Name **, son of the owner ** EDITED - Name ** said that they would purchase the car on my behalf from a Garage in
Europe and that I could collect the car in 2-3 weeks.
They asked for 10% of the value of the car to be paid immediately via debit card. A few weeks later they asked me to send the balance. I wasn’t happy transferring the full balance so I agreed to send half the balance as per there T&C’s and would pay the final balance on collection.
Naturally, I had been in contact with the garage in Luxemburg to make sure The TT Centre had actually forwarded the deposit initially to secure the car.
This is when the problems started to occur. The TT Centre took over a month to send 1000 Euros to secure the car. Finally this amount was received by the dealer, however, the balance was never received by the dealer and they subsequently sold the vehicle to someone else despite my warnings to The TT Centre, over a 2 month period, that they were going to do this. I was just fed lies throughout the whole period.
I have been trying to get my £20000 back for the last 9 months but to date I have not received a penny.
I now know that others have been lured in by this company and as a result, Driven Management Limited may finally be on its way out, however, this has not stopped the owner, ** EDITED - Name **, from continuing his business knowing that he owes thousands!
He could now be trading from his home in Esher using a company called Stark Trading Limited.
I regret putting my trust in people such as this and can only warn others not to make the same mistake.

Couldn't resist Googling them.

Interesting!

(ttcentre dot com appears to be defunct, ttcentre dot co dot uk may explain why!)

Bodster, cannot believe that you lumped out £20,000 (part payment) to buy a car from someone who you knew little about, nor had ever met.  Sympathies to out to you.  Let this be a warning to others.  My Motto: 'Trust No One'
