I am new to this forum, and we have nearly bought an apartment at Alcaucin. Has anyone else bought there recently? We are a bit worried about things we have heard about buying here. Juley R

Just do a lot of research and make sure that you see all permits before signing a contract and get a bank or insurance guarantee for any deposits you pay over..at the same time as you make them...not later

Also do not complete without a Licence of First Occupation

Just do not take any risk....everything must be in order......if not walk away

There are lots of opportunities to buy in a Spanish environment without risk and some very good deals about

Full agree with Rowlandsbb, no risks as it is a buyers´market now.

Time your your independent lawyers to produce good contracts covering all your rights.

congradulations Juley,  I bet its all done and dusted by now, we also bought one there and it was completed in February we went to furnish it, cant wait to go back in a few weeks.
