Does anyone know of  a Lawyer anywhere in Duquesa that will help us make our WIlls, or is the nearest in Marbella.

Hi Maureen!

There are some lawyers in the port.  Check out the Duquesa Guide, if you have one - if not, go to the guide website and download the magazine.  On page 26 of the latest issue you'll see an ad for SG&G Abogados.  We haven't used them, so can't recommend them, obviously, but you can check them out.  They speak English (you'll see from their ad).

Hope you had a great time in Duquesa and look forward to seeing you in July!

My solicitor did ours.  He is based in Estepona, very reliable, very honest and speaks fluent English.  His name is David Garcia Virto 952 79 13 10 or email baugat@telefonica.net.

My solicitor sorted out a will for me at suprisingly low cost (especially as it had to be signed by the notary).
She is in Duquesa port on certain days each week - she is Beatriz Ochoa de Retana tel 952 86 18 50 or email astolfi@marbella.net.

As Duquesa is so near Gibraltar why not use one there .  Most of the lawyers have English law degrees and some specialise in Spanish law and Spanish property.   Most of them are highly qualified  and all are bi-lingual.  - they have to be or you won't get a job.  We used a Gib lawyer when we bought our apartment .  My work out cheaper as you pay in £s .
