Bought off plan in 2004 two bed appartment proposed finishing date December 2005. No contact from developer in the meantime despite numerous emails and we were in Spain in September 2006 and emailed developer to see if we could get a look at the site but no response until we were safely back after holidays. We are trying to get a refund at this stage but developer says bad weather and strikes were the cause of delay and refuse to refund us. We have asked our lawyer to call in bank guarantee at this stage. We will wait and see. He says he has to wait 40 days for response from insurance company. We would hope that outcome is positive. fingers crossed.
