For those who do not know yet the parking restrictions for express (drop off and collect) are now in force. If you wish to use this area there is a MAXIMUM of 15 mins you are allowed. This is activated by barriers at each end and you taking a ticket at entry and using it at the end. Sounds good and easy?
On Thursday morning after waiting in line to get into the 'car park' we queued to find a 'drop off' space which took about 5 of our 15 mins and then had to queue for another 15 to 20 mins. to get out!!!!! So we were there for nearly 30 mins which is well over the minutes 'allowed' At the barrier to leave, on both barriers they had 1 guy who took your ticket, put it into the 'broken' machine twice (for all cars!) and then ambled over to the second machine which raised the barrier. Very high tec???.
I am hoping that we will not receive, in the post, a charge for overstaying our permitted time. Anyone else had any problems or similar experience?
Please bring the flights back to MJV so that we can drop off and collect our family easily and without stress.
