Regular IBI Bills?

Hi All,

We received our first IBI bill in 2011 which allowed us to calculate the non resident tax due but have not received another IBI bill since. We have been using the same catastral value since then. Is this normal? Should we receive a regular bill? If not, where can we go to source a copy of a recent bill? The bill itself is paid by direct debit but the physical bill is not being received.

As you have not posted under the Community Forum Section ,I am unable to acertain where your Property is situated in Spain. If you could  please provide these  details,then another Forum User could investigate further for you.I do not think Catastral Values have been adjusted since 2011,you will have to check with  your Local Town Hall. I know in Estepona these values were last adjusted in 2008.

You have to go to your Local Town Hall to obtain a copy of your Annual IBI. Take some form of identification with you such as Residency Permit,NIE Number & Passport as well.

I don't know if they have adjusted the values in Almeria Province since 2008.Have you joined the EOS Almerimar Community.See website below. Also another website to find your Town Hall. Estepona is in Malaga province so I am nowhere near your location. You would have to ask your Local Town Hall these questions or a Notary in your area.

We also pay by direct debit in Peniscola, Castellon. We bank with La Caixa and the payment details for the IBI show the catastral value on the online receipt. Perhaps yours will too.
