El Tayo, Los Palacios, Formentera del Segura

This bar/restaurant opened last night (30th November). It is owned and run by a lovely Spanish couple who are very friendly and welcoming. The menu is a mix of Spanish and English and they have tapas on the bar. They are also doing English breakfast.
It is situated on the roundabout where the CV860 meets the CV910.

We had a lovely evening there and back for coffee today as it´s going to be our local!

Sure can. If you come out of Formentera towards Rojales, you should turn left around the roundabout on the CV 860 towards Guardamar and Daya Vieja. At the next roundabout you will see El Tayo on the right. It´s where the Thai Gardens used to be.

They are putting on a great Valentine´s menu:

Choice of three starters, four main courses and a variety of desserts, you get a large beer or half a bottle of wine, a complimentary glass of champagne and, if you can share, a free taxi home (4 passengers min.). For reservations call 622 734 911. Nico speaks good English.
