Has anyone lost any dogs in the Jalon/Xalo area of the Marina Alta? My grandson and a friend found the animals, leashed together, in a flooded ditch. They were slowly drowning, unable to get themselves out as debris had collected and trapped them. The boys were able to get down to the dogs and cut them free, but before they could catch them for further investigation they ran off (still leashed together). Enquiries in the area have not yet produced anyone searching for them.

No reward is being sought! Just keen to have the recovery made and hopefully they're home again.
