I booked my 4 day rental with e mail car hire .com 54.04 euros they quoted

I then arrived went to the record a car desk malaga

Sorry Senor we have to charge a full tank comprndez total cost 136.12 euros

So far to say we returned it with 3/4 of a tank

What a rip off

Any suggestions how to avoid this in the future at malaga airport

Easy to avoid.Only rent cars from companies that offer take out empty and return empty

I found holidayautos.co.uk to be quite good at showing you exactly what you will pay, but read their fuel policy in the terms and conditions.  For short rentals it's worth getting the 'take full/return full' policy.

Ive used www.malagacarhire.com for the past ten years never had a problem even when i bashed the car there policy is to give you the car with a full tank and you take it back full there cheap as well
