Hi

We have just come back from 4 days in Spain.  Beautiful weather for the time of year, development doing really well, there are loads of builders, decorators etc. on site every day.

They have started digging out the swimming pool area's for the first 3 phases.  The green area's in the middle of the site have not been started but you can tell that they are going to be really wide and will open up the development.

The end 3 bed properties, have really large outside spaces, easily large enough for a mini pool, if required.

The builders are expecting to release the first 3 stages in approximately 10 weeks time.  By this time they believe they will have the pools and green area's done for these phases.

They are preparing at the front  of the development houses, this will include a 2 bed showhouse.  Expected to be ready for people to view in a weeks time!

The company who have furnished the 3 bed showhouse on phase 1 are called Muekles in San Pedro.  Sadly one of the furniture shops in San Juan has closed down since we were last out 6 months ago.  A pity given a local company and so many houses about to be furnished.

The builders have released some further properties they are marketing as bungalows but really they are ground and first floor apartments.  They start for a 1 bed at 142,000 euro's.  They are being built on the land to the side of phase 1 (below the Beverley Hill's).  They will have good outside space and really large lounges suitable for a 2nd bedroom if required.  Another builder is however building immediately behind them (below the Beverley Hills).  Most of the CDP have already been reserved.

Security on the site is now very tight, and it is not easy to get round without being accompanied.  We have some photo's of the whole of the development, which we will post shortly.

The colours look well and not out of keeping for the area.

Immediately in front of the woodland area, new wide roads are being prepared.

The 27 hole golf course is now open, feedback suggests an excellent course but quite a hard one to play.

Overall we are really pleased, we have stuck with the development, it is looking well.

Hope you have found the above useful.

Regards

Beverley & Martin

Hi Beverley and Martin

Thanks for the update can't wait for the pic's. It looks like we are just going to Ikea in Murcia for our funiture as you can hire a van from them as well, the furniture shop was closed when we were last out. Getting a little worried about the Euro though, It might be just this eyeonspain site though as we never get a lift from it but like I said kooking forward to the photos

                                         Cheers Mick & Pam

Hi Beverley & Martin

Isn't it good to come back with some positive feelings about the development? We were out there a few weeks back and thought it was all looking great and I agree, the area down the middle is much wider than I originally thought and will create some good open space as the houses are close together at the back, we can all become very close neighbours.

We're back on May 15th (for good) having rentede a villa nearby, so we'll be keeping a close eye on developments as we will be walking our dogs along the front every day. Last time we were out the photos we took were no further on from the ones that had ust been posted but I shall be taking regular photos to update for people as I know that interest is increasing now that there is rapid progress.  I look forward to seeing your photos as I love to look at the development, it makes it seems closer all the time.

Weather seems much better than here as well, and people wonder why we're moving over there.

Jacqui

Hi
Just back from a trip to San Juan.
Work has started on the pool at the end of Phase III and will
upload a few pics we took of it. As you will see, there is a brick
tower and a metal mast not far from the pool.

As others have mentioned, it is difficult to access the site now,
apart from accompanied trips to the show house.
One of the blocks in Phase X has been advanced beyond the
others, and finished in white (maybe a new showhouse?).
Regards,
Grant & Lynne

Hi Grant & Lynn

Glad you enjoyed your recent visit.

Thanks for the progress report.  How is the pool in phase 1 progressing? have they started on the green area around the pool?  We have booked flights for 15 June for 2 weeks hopefully to sign up, everything seems to suggest that June will be the month, anyway if not we will have a holiday and leave the solicitor to sign for us. Looking forward to meeting you.

Mavis and Bill (phase 1)

Thanks for the photos of the pools, it's always good to see extra bits being done, I'm looking forward to being able to keep a close eye on things on a daily basis, I think my hubby may get fed up - at least I will be able to make the excuse that I am walking the dogsm oh, and I just happened to go past the site. I may try & become good friends with the office staff.
