We came back from Terreros about a week back, and at that time there was no great activity at ex-Casa de la Vega.

However, we were surprised to see that Da Fu Hau have opened a "Chinese Bazar" on the opposite corner of Ruben Dario to Vega.
They sell a selection of household and DIY items and some oriental ropas. Upper and Super-Pepa can't be too pleased!

The development past the other end of Terreros is also steaming ahead, with the road from Calypso to the A332 junction closed as they appear to be creating a large roundabout intersection.

Hi
We faced this choice in February as our bank guarantee expired in March, and we decided against continuing to wait without one.
We signed up in summer 2005 for our 3 bed on Phase V, and after so long a wait, from the outside it looks about finished, but the road isn't and there's no reliable handover date from Peinsa. The uncertainties about Peinsa's finances, habitacion licences and consequently mains services connection persuaded us to pull the plug. But if Peinsa hang on, and it gets going again, maybe it could all come right? It's a lousy decision to have to take.
We're hoping to find something else.

We also prefer to go for Spanish style restaurants when in Spain.
Were in San Juan last week and one evening had paella at Casa de la Vega.
The food was ok, and the restaurant is most definitely Spanish at the moment,
although maybe not the cheapest place in town. Didn't ask if the WiFi was still
available but would agree that it looks unlikely.

Long standing members of the forum will remember the numerous occasions when richard (and almeriastu)
posted eagerly awaited progress photos to keep us in touch with progress on CDP, when reliable
information reaching us was very scarce.
I hope that both continue to contribute, even if moderators require less direct advertising.

Thanks for that.
All in favour of using builders services.  Just trying to check that there won't be any obstacles to mains connection should anything happen to our favourite developer.
