At last I have had success in contacting the elusive Luis!!!
He has promised me that he will answer the questions that were raised following the letter that came out a few weeks ago & I should receive that by email tomorrow.
Part of the problem with getting a response from Luis is that his email fell over a couple of weeks ago & it has taken some time to get it working again. He is working his way through the contacts as quickly as he can.
Community Meeting - Still no confirmed date. Luis is meeting with Key Mare this week & will be able to confirm the date in the next day or two. I have stressed to Luis that this needs to be confirmed asap so that flights can be arranged confident in the knowledge that the meeting is definitely going ahead. The last date mentioned was 1st March but this could still change, although it will definitely take place on a Saturday.
Email List - I know that Andrew Rampton has always stressed that the email addresses will not be disclosed to any 3rd party but Luis is not confident that his database has all the correct contact details/apartment numbers. He is asking whether he can have a copy of the list so that he can cross reference to ensure future contacts get to everybody. Personally, I think it is a good idea to give him the information but obviously others may disagree. Therefore, can you advise me either way & I will tailor the list to exclude anyone who does not want Luis to have it. PLEASE CAN I HAVE THIS BY FRIDAY 8TH FEB.
If anyone reads this & is not on Andrew's email list & would like to join, please PM me your name, apartment number & email address. Also please indicate if you are happy for this information to be passed on to Seasun. PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE INFORMATION ON TO THE FORUM - PM ONLY PLEASE.
QUESTIONS - Another part of the problem that Luis has is that a large number of people are emailing him with issues/problems relating to their apartments, when these should in fact go to Key Mare (I know they don't answer emails either!). Luis/Seasun can only deal with issues/problems/questions relating to the common areas of the development. Having said this, Luis is happy to go to KM to discuss the issues but he needs these issues to be provided to him in a co-ordinated way. I have agreed with him that if anyone wishes to forward these issues to me, I will collate them & provide an overall picture to Luis for him to take further. This may include issues such as 1) Not receiving TV picture 2) Outstanding Snags 3) Damp 4) Air Con not working etc etc. IF ANYONE WANTS ME TO DO THIS, PLEASE LET ME HAVE - YOUR NAME, YOUR APARTMENT NUMBER, DETAILS OF THE ISSUES - AGAIN BY FRIDAY 8TH FEB PLEASE.
If I can have everything in by Friday, this means I can deal with it all in one go on Saturday. Don't worry if you miss the deadline though as I can always do a "mop-up" afterwards.
With regard to the suggestion that was put forward by Lorraine Braid, whereby any queries/ questions could be routed through a representative rather than everyone sending emails - Luis was not keen on this as he has to make sure that there is a common message & that everyone is getting that message, not just our email list.
Sorry for waffling on but I thought I would get as much info from him as I could while I had him on the phone! I did make a point that it is quite frustrating not to have emails & phone calls returned.
