Can I offer the most profound apologies for not arranging a date for the "informal" get-together?
We were rather hoping that, at some point during the festive season, we would be meeting and greeting other Brits in order that we could exchange views and general opinions. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we found ourselves watching four KeyMare employees smashing the tiles on the front patio, removing a foot of concrete (all of this being trailed through our lounge), and then replacing and making good the job! This only took 7 days from 8am till 6pm and meant that I couldn't leave the apartment until after they had finished for the day!! Damned inconvenient in the week before Christmas!!
However, if the mess and inconvenience wasn't enough to be going on with, I then succumbed to the flu! (Probably brought on by having to have the patio and front door open for 10 hours a day!)
Still, I shouldn't complain, at least the water drains from the patio now, and KeyMare took the opportunity to complete a long-list of "snagging". HURRAH!!!
So once again, please accept my apologies, and I hope that each and every one of you had a super Christmas and here's to a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
