Some of us from Los Olivos are going out for a lunch time meal at the Meston Verran restaurant in Los Gallardos on 12th December. If anyone will be in Spain for this date & would like to join us for a get together please let me know.

We are 'tied up' in the UK for the 19th December though, so it would have to be a short visit.

Costa Almeria News: The Botham family arrived en masse to support Sarah - who worked for Sky Sports for seven years - in her new role as restaurateur of ‘Los Pepes’ near the historic Vera town square. 

He has a place at Desert Springs apparently.

Hi .A landline at last & now Broadband.We had avery pleasant meal--thanks to Sylvia & Linda for organising it. Dave & Maura had to leave early to catch their plane , asdid Judy & i to take Harry to the vets for an overnight operation. Unfortunately on returning home Neil & Chris had been burgled &lost a lot of valuable & preciousthings   --my heart went out to them to see such natural distress.

To try to put a better light on Los O ,the trees which have been planted will definitely enhance the area.& the lake s now being filled.

Thanks for the best wishes for my pace maker & Judy,s experience with her knee,we both are now very impressed with Spanish hospitals ,private & National Health. Also a great " thankyou "  to our friends & neighbours who have been so kind & thoughtful when we needed it---he joys of " Anno Domini ".

Will be more positive another time.

Haydn and Judy, it is lovely to hear from you, and I have sent a private message as well.  Thank you for letting us know about

the burglary. A truly awful thing at any time, but to happen when you are all out celebrating - just terrible.  I wish there was something we could do to support Chris and Neil, who as residents will almost certainly have lost more than a few valuables which you would expect if you were just on holiday.  Please give them our very best regards and let us know if there is anything we can do to support them.  It looks as though security, already on the agenda, is going to be a big issue at the meeting with Marisol.

On a more postive note, I am delighted to hear that you are both well, but a bit concerned about Harry.  Is he ok now?
