Hi.Just transferred 152000 Euros via Currencies Direct to Cambank.Spoke to bank who told me a % of 0.2would be charged. However if i instructed C.D to transfer in 4lots of under 50000 there wuold be no charge.This charge is only applied on amounts of 50000 & over .C.D agreed to do this with written instructions.Hope this is useful as it is not hearsay ,but i did it today

Hi Haydngi.We are hoping to complete on Los Olivos Huerta Nueva Los Gallardos ,near Mojacar, on Dec 31 .So far all O.K.After reading the various horror stories for 18 months i,m hoping that ours are not going tostart We bought via Parador who like all the other agents,have their severe critics,but in their owners club we,ve had ,so far ,no complaints.My heart goes out to the numerous people who through no fault of their own , now find their hopes dreams&life,s savings in jeopardy.Despite a number of spiteful , soured cynics who state that the motive was greed,most people did the right thing with solicitors, hoping for a different &better way of life .I hope you manage to resolve everything sooner rather than later.

Incidentally we share the same unusual Christian name.I was born  bred & went to grammar school in North Manchester before i moved to Stockport in my late teens many moons ago I was named after an uncle in Harpurhey.

Hi Noelwilma Just read your post & iread a quote on another post recently which named 6 town halls (Mojacar included ) for investigation ,but excluded Vera.

We are supposed to complete on Dec 31 on Los Olivos Huerta Nueva ,Los Gallardos &this is the first time on any of the numerous posts on numerous threads, that Los Gallardos has been mentioned re. illegalities.Where did you read this?

Would be grateful if you could reply.

Hi.We are driving to Mojacar Jan 5 with 2 small dogs, via Channel tunnel following A.A.route Will be making 2 stops,say 1-south of paris-2-north of Alicante.Can anybody tell of motels etc that allow dogs or point the way to find out.Would be so grateful. Regards Haydn & Judy.
