Directions from Airport

Hi Everyone,

Just returned from a wonderful weekend in sunny Spain and had the pleasure of meeting a few more of our neighbours.  We feel 100% confident knowing we have people like Haydn & Judy and Rob & Linda around while we are not there.

Does any have any detailed directions from the Almeria Airport they could e-mail to me, as we have some friends staying out there shortly and thought this would be extremely helpful.

Hi Nicki & Paul,
Here are some directions that may help (assuming coming out of hire-car car-park):

1. Exit car-park in top-corner (not easy to find in the dark !) and turn left onto the road (it's 1 way).
2. Follow road round until you hit a roundabout, turn right, signposted for Murcia (I think).
3. Follow the single-carriageway for a few kms then reach another roundabout where you turn left onto a dual-carriageway, signposted for Almeria and Murcia, E15. When you reach the junction with the E15, turn off right heading for Murcia.
4. Stay on E15 for about 65km until you reach junction 520, signposted for Mojacar, Los Gallardos, Turre and Bedar, and at the roundabout at the end of the slip-road, go straight over heading for Los Gallardos.
5. Reach LG after a few kms and turn right into the Huerta Nueva site after the 2nd white house on the right, opposite the portable BMS office.

Hope that helps (there are several ways of getting onto the E15 from the airport, the aone above is what works for us)
