HI WE ARE IN BLOCK 27 I HAVE GOT SOME HOUSE INSURANCE QUOTES BUILDINGS 195000 CONTENTS 40000   AVERAGE QUOTE WITH PUBLIC LIBILITY 700 EURO PLUS CAN OTHER OWNERS TELL ME THEIR QUOTES AND THE COMPANIES THEY GOT THEM FROM  AND IS THIS QUOTE ABOUT RIGHT  .SEEMS EXPENSIVE

I have just had a quote from WWW.Saltsbay.com a company recommended on the general forum.

25,000 Euros contents only - 89.80 Euros for the year

25,000 Euros contents & 65,000 Euros Buildings - 145 Euros.

I wasn't sure about the rebuild costs so they have based it on 1000 Euros per SqM but they have said it would need to be adjusted if the mortgage was for a higher figure.

The policy is issued in English & includes 150,000 of Public Liability cover.

Hi,

Just saw your note on the home insurance thanks. I just wondered has anyone come across the building insurance  from Caja Murcia bank? I know their mortgage offer is competitive, but I am not sure about the insurance policy. I was given a quote just under €100 for building insurance only. The insurer is Caser Seguros. Has anyone come across this?

We haven't had a quote from Caja Murcia yet but I think just for the simple life, we will go with them for the first year, unless it is wildly different from the figures below.
