11 month rental wanted

Does anybody have a realistic forecast for the rental potential for this development, I would like to rent our appartment as well as use it ourselves but am unsure of how many weeks I can expect to get rentals. I understand that this area is popular with the Spanish for holidays ?

I plan to rent my flat out too. I was told one should expect to be able to rent it 12 weeks in a year. I was also told that its best to try and rent the property yourselve rather than depending on Estate Agents (with their high fees) to do it for you. I plan to do alot of the marketing myself when my flat (Block 27) will complete.

If you rent out yourself, who's looking after the bedlinen change and towelservice, cleaning of the appartment, explaining visitors how the equipment works etc. Have you found such a company?We want to let it out ourselves aswell, but I don't know any company who can give them the key of the apartment etc.

Any idea what you're going to ask for weekprice?

We want to rent out aswell, through the agent but also ourselves. (when the agent finds people who want to rent the flat, the agent looks after everything--> hand over the keys, explain the equipment, bedlinen and towelservice, inspection while visitors are there and the cleaning afterwards). But who does these things when you rent out yourself?

We are buying on AA Resort (sorry, but that forum is now closed). Phil at Key Mare recommended Trevor & Susana. I have emailed them a few times and their prices are reasonable. they do the lot, cleaning, inventory, key holding, security checks, laundry, etc. Drop them a line on solanodelmar@msn.com
