just return from a few days at reserva great weather and the gardens are looking great.  The grass around the pool in front of block 3 manzana 3 has really grown in over the past couple of months and also the pool in front of block 6 is also showing signs of improvement. Unfortuneately on the downside dog mess was present in both pool areas. Those of you with kids will be only too aware of the potencial health risk this poses to our children. Please, please if you are an owner of one of the offending darlings.... don't allow them to poo by the pool.

When we were there last there was a "wild" dog - no owner in sight, no collar, no lead, wandering around the site.  The gap at the bottom of our gates was quite big enough for him to squeeze under and he often had to be shooed out of the pool area.  Residential children attempted to block him out by putting boulders in front of the gates to close the gap.

I agree with you.  I would like to see signs put up around La Reserva gardens and on the roads asking dog owners to pick up the poo. People either let their dogs roam or let them mess anywhere on the paths or roadside.  I am a dog lover but people should be responsible for their pets.  It has always been a problem especially arounfd the perimeter of Manzana 4 and up by the dustbins.  Could we all get together and ask the Master Community to do something about this issue?

There is nothing more off putting the dog poo and it does not look good for those lettting their apartments  for the summer season when La Reserva looks so nice from the photos and it is nice, and slowly getting better and more established but for this problem.

I fully agree, I was there earlier this year and the place was a mess with dog poo.

It gave a wrong impression of the developement and I mentioned it at the time.

I was walking into my apartment when a dog came behind me roaring.....I thought this was it.  The was no collar or no owner present.

Dog owners need to clean up dogs poo NOW  AND FOREVER and keep our developement looking nice.

I have heard by private email from an owner in Manzana 3 who informs me he also mentioned it last year. Apparently I am informed by him that the dog fouing laws are the same as UK.  If this is the case why can't we have posters up regarding dog fouling?  I will contact the Master Community to see what can be done.  Perhaps if we all get together our voices might be heard.  I would like to see dogs banned from the gardens altogether and owners asked to walk them away from the communal areas and to pick up the mess and to dispose of it correctly.  I was hoping when we completed the complex would be "No Pets Allowed" I am a dog lover but do not think it is fair for the animals to be kept in apartments or in such a built up area as sometimes the barking is a real nusiance.

I fully agree with comments posted ,we need to raise this at the AGM. There are a few dogs living in the complex and we must appeal to there owners to be more responsible. We have talked to a lady walking her dog off the lead and she said she lived near the beach and came up to la reserva to walk her dog. "It was such a quite place to come with her dog" she also knew of others that came to exercise there pouches!!

The dog poo may not come from the resisdents so to speak. We do need to keep gates shut. Perhaps a letter could be posted and everyone do there bit to help with this.

When our block completed three years ago we saw many people from down the hill walking their dogs round La Reserva.  It is not only the gardens but also the paths from the complex going down the hill you have to pick your way through it. ! I have had an email from an owner saying he has had complaints from people renting his apartment for holidays.  We mentioned it at our AGM and were told that the roads and paths were for he Master Community .  So this weekend I will contact the President by email to ask that something might be done.  Perhaps we could ask the security guards when they are patrolling and driving round  to mention it if they see people with dogs and also to people walking past the security hut into La Reserva.

There is a British Family in Block one Manzana 3 whos dog constantly fouls the garden and they never clean it up. I have warned them that I intend to name and shame them if it is not rectified.

If they are owners - they should be named and shamed.  If they are renting, the President should be encouraged to write to the owners accordingly.

We let friends and family use our apartment. Everyone who has visited this year has remarked on not only the mess dogs leave around but also that many owners leave them on the terrace to yap all day.

The best course of action is to raise the matter though your President.

My apartment is next door to people who have a dog and he seems to bark all day long.  The dog is tied in the garden and as soon as I go into my garden he increases the volume and speed and this continues until I leave the garden.  He is joined in the chorus by a dog 4 or 5 gardens up.  Its just too much ...........far too much.

Is there no rules or regulations.  I do not rent , if I did,   I would have complaints.

I dont mind dogs next to me but can they keep it down if only for a while. I really think its down to the dog owners to control their dogs.

Next time I will go to this pool of plants for solitude and prayer to keep my nerve.

The dog dirt is still a disgrace and remarked upon by friends who were visiting last week.

One particular bad spot is just as you go around past the bins, and on the opposite side of the road beside Bloque 5 Manzana 3 and start to go down the hill. It appears to be the toilet area for quite a few dogs, and is especially annoying as not far from this part of the pavement is the dirt track and open land going down towards the Villas and Open Cor where you would think any one with a brain but too lazy to pick up the dirt would encourage their dogs to go. Not the ideal answer but better than residents having to pick their way down the bank.

As Spain has anti fouling laws I  think we should have posters displayed on lamp posts and dog bins.

Unfortunately as well as picking your way to avoid the dog dirt on La Reserva 2 there are now some seriously dangerous broken path tiles to trip you up and gaps in man hole covers from the middle of the hill down to the bottom on La Reserva 1.

On a positive note, the gardens are lovely and the new Restaurant  great!
