  Where to now? I had been told that the developer had won an appeal against the town hall and a judge had said LA RESERVA was now legal. There seems to be no end in site, you would think the developer would want to legalise his development in order to at least be able to sell his stock of apartments.  

Any news of when the new harbour is starting or is that another tall story!!!!

i gather our developers are still arguing with the town hall about land compenstion , this has now gone to court so could run and run for some time.

meanwhile  prices...... remax have a first floor appartment priced at 110,000 euros!!!!!!!!

with the news today of Spain on the verge of a euro bailout licenses may not be all we have to worry about!!!!

we went 2 years ago,staying in granada, got lost looking for hotel. We did meet Giles from the British Ski School fantastic help advice ....good lessons , local knowledge. Hope this helps.

hi we are in manzana 3 block 7 and have the same question.  We are all in the new pgou but as far as i can find out license's have not been issued because there is a dispute over compensation to the town hall. We went around a number of estate agents and they all said la reserva is not settled, you can sell but there are a few banks lending on la reserva and you really need a cash buyer. I gather the dispute is with the developer and  the town hall is happy to let residents buy and sell.

Interesting comment on belgal web page about license's.

thanks mike for the reply, i think we expect Spain to run like the uk, everthing isn't black and white in the world, i do feel the authorities have set everyone up, i know many people who's lives and health have been effected and if Spain wants to sell more houses to foreigners it must sort out the present situation. We love Spain, the weather, the spanish, their food but the legal system and politcs........!!!!!!!
