Malc,

Unsure but whatever the reason we wish Anna and all the Homeowners on that Forum our best wishes. As a business, our media to disperse information to Homeowners of SADM, regardless of emotivity, is through EoS and will continue to do so.

Hi

I am starting to get worried, as I haven't been banned from any forum (yet!)!    It does seem to be pointless banning people unless they are using obscene language, slagging other people off unfairly on-line, posting things that are patently untrue just to worry other buyers - having met them, I'm sure Darren and Michelle wouldn't be guilty of any of those, so I find it bizarre.  I think it's healthy to hear other people's points of view and, as adults, surely we can make our own minds up?  Let's not forget that at some stage we are all going to be neighbours, so we should start making friends now and not falling out - end of speech!

Yeh, and anyway, by that time we'll all be so old we won't even know what day it is never mind what disagreements we had.

Only joking....   stiff upper lip everyone...

Auntielinda/ Darren, we see this quite a lot.  When one buyer sets up a website for all the other buyers it no longer becomes an independent site and often causes huge problems with one buyer taking full control of who can say what, etc, as we can see with you both being banned.  It's sad really, but then again, seeing how Anna spammed this forum originally I'm not surprised with the way she continues to conduct herself.

Eye on Spain continues to be an independent source so we remain totally impartial and just let eveyone get on with it.  We have no vested interest in any of the off plan developments on the site.  We have worked very hard for over 3 years to get to this stage so it makes us very happy that many of you enjoy the site and continue to use it.

Regards

Justin

Hi Justin.

I would second what Homer has said.  I am thankful to have found this site and log on every day, as I supose a lot of others do.  When I first found this site I hade a lot of questions and I feel that Darren & Anna were helpful as was Auntylinder.

As no on had been rude or abusive on this forum I do not see the problem.  People do not always see eye to eye, and have diferent opinions.  This is as it should be or we may as well be sheep, I do not follow the leader or take things as gospel just because someone has said it.  If i have any doubts I check it out for myself.

I am a newby to Spain so I would like to hear anything from others who are in the know, possitive or negative. Check on MSN Money and see what they say about Spain, does it make me want to cut and run.  What a load of twaddle makes me want to buy to properties if I had the finances.

I think most people have made their choice and it would take something spectacular to make us pull out.  You are the man in power and I would ask that you consider what others have said and reverse your decision on the ban.

Regards  Recardo

Just to set the record straight, I have never banned anyone from this site.  I have asked certain people such as Alm, who is not a buyer at SADM, to not cause any upset amongst the true buyers on here.

Homer, the problem I have with Anna is her unethical business ethics.  A few months ago she came onto this site and spammed it totally going against the terms of posting.  Remember how you will have heard of her website?  She showed no respect for my business that I have personally invested many thousands of pounds in.  In the end I actually let it go as she informed me that her website would just be a forum and not a commercial venture.  This was obviously a lie as we can now see.

She has since returned on various occasions to the forum yet again up to her old tricks.

In business I am fair and work incredibly hard for everything I achieve, it's a shame not everyone plays by the same rules.

Justin

Hi Justin,

Thanks for your post, the things you say about Anna I have no knowledge about, so you have to do what you feel is right, as it is your investment.

I do agree that ALM has no right to post as he has no involvement.  While i take his coments with a pinch of salt, and it doesn't deter me it may do so for others.  If people are so easily swayed maybe they are not goinging into this venture with their eyes open, and a strong enough commitment.

Recardo

Hopefully this comment will be left to stand and we can end this conversation once and for all and not let either forum turn into battlegrounds. I think it is a real shame if that happens  as we have both worked hard and I am sure that everyone would agree that they do not log on to read unpleasnt comments. I certainly do not want unplesantness however nor do I want a public slating.

I have never posted anything personally nasty about anyone and do not intend to start now.

Justin you make some valid points and I did spam people when I first started the site. In reality this is because I was very excited about the site I had created and wanted to be in a position to share it with fellow owners.

I did not think about the impact and in hindsight  realised that it was a little insensitive of me. I added a link to your site so that it in some way made amends and thought you may have realised this. Many people have PM ed others about your site or talked about it online and I have no problem as I had not viewed you as competition as you obviously have me. This will not change as I am not commercial.

In terms of integrity and ethics then I think these are my strongest qualities. I did not lie about my site being commercial. It was never intended to be so and infact I resisted requests for it to advertise business for a long time. Anyone who has been a member from early on with know this themselves.

I think the biggest misunderstanding between us is that you see me as running  a business and therefore having business ethics and a cynical desire for big profit margins. I am not running a business however. Any contracts or commercial items on my site are set up for the pure benefit of owners. Unlike you the people who have bought there are not just site traffic but my friends and future neighbours. I do nothing orientated by money but only by the desire to forge a nice community where we can all share information and help each other and hopefully get a cheaper price along the way. some people have paid a small fee for advertising but this has only covered some of the costs of the site.

If I was running the site for business then I would be  a very poor business lady.

please do not let your site turn into a ground for unpleasantness as this benefits no-one. I had no idea that you were so angered by me and therefore apologise

All the best

Anna

Justin

I hope that you will accept Anna's apologies. I was the one who said that those of us who have bought on SADM will be neighbours in future, so I would like to think we can all be friends now.  I found the santaanedelmonte.net website first but somebody on that website pointed me in the direction of Eye on Spain (thank you whoever that was!) and I have found helpful comments on both sites, feel that looking at both of them gives me a better perspective, and do take all posts with a pinch of salt when necessary!  I think we are all aiming for the same things, so I hope that nobody gets banned for being honest - including me!

Sue
