This is good, honest advice.
1st... You can only drive a UK registered car abroad for 3 months in any insured calendar year.
2nd...Spain will only allow you to keep your UK car here for 6 months max before putting it onto Spanish plates, or with 6 months space in-between to bring it back in.
3rd... I have it on reliable... authority... the Spanish plods will soon be checking each & every UK car for correct paperwork, drivers licence, etc. If the vehicle fails to meet their stringent requirements it will be impounded and the driver detained. If you have one parked outside your house then you should have your paperwork at the ready!
4th... Thank Brexit for this!
5th... and yourself if you have flouted the legal LAW!
PS. When your UK car left the UK it (the registration) was automatically registered and recorded. You cannot escape.
And if you have flouted the LAW it is yourself who has sewn the seeds and could pay dearly for the heavy& perhaps expensive harvest.
