As anyone heard from PSI solicitors regarding the San Jose situation i have emailed them several times but no reply back.

It seems people are getting there money back , and we are in the same situation as when we first started this fight, do not know what we paid PSI for.I would be glad of any information from anyone please help!!!!

I never thought I would be visiting this site again never mind posting, however the only way to get your money back is to sue the banks. It will take time and with no guarantee of success but it is the only option left. I believe that is the course of action taken by most of those who have had their money returned.

PSI was the firm we first used when we agreed to buy and have been through two more since then, seems they achieve nothing and only time they proactive is when they looking their fees.  My last solicitor ( nos 3) has as yet to notify me that Herrado del Tollo has gone into full administration as they could not honour their agreement ( suprise suprise ) now all he wants is his remaining fees.

Personally I had lost all faith in the Spanish legal system, however that view has changed in recent weeks after I met with Guadalupe Sanchez from GM Legal . Our problem was that we could not afford to pay any more in legal fees to pursue the case,and had considered going with one of the no win no fee companies, but after meeting with Guadalupe who is arranging a class action which lowers the costs.

 This girl has given me a small flicker of hope that we may one day get our money back, and I consider the financial sacrifice worth it, and if anyone can argue the case it's her. . 

I know she is hoping to start another  class action soon and think you should contact her, she can be contacted on EOS  by private message or if you pm me will send you her email address.

Guadalupe and her  team are like whirlwinds and if you contact her for advice I am sure she will be able to help, I amazed at the speed they orginise everything. Now waiting for our notarised Power of Attorney to be returned from foreign office and so this journey whatever the outcome will be our last.

I emailed PSI about 4 weeks ago and was told to refer everything to the lawyer in Alicante who has appeared for us in court.

Mr Martinez said he is in the process of  dealing with the administrator who is now dealing with the liquidation and trying to get bank guarantees from town halls in order to divide among creditors.  No mention of how much it will cost, an average was 350 - 500euros. He said he will let me know in due course what the next step will be and cost.

i have also joined the class action with Guadalupe just waiting for them to have all documents from everyone to start. I also for the first time feel a little bit of hope. Fingers crossed it's the only option now.

I have just found out today that the banks have been ordered by the courts to deposit all our monies into gm legals bank account within the next "20 days"!

this is great news and should show to all who got ripped off by HDT that we do have a way of getting our cash back.

Hi trowell 1 , please can you clarify if this court order only applies to people who have had their day in court under law 57/68 with GM legal , or does it also include those of us who are still waiting for our court date(s). ?  In any event congratulations to all concerned. Long time coming. !!!

PSI and namely Jose Antonio Martinez Martinez from Alicante got us our money back 4yrs ago (we were the 1st ones he had done this for) Guadaloupe got Hawkins his money back just 3 months before us, and that was her 1st success against San Jose too, so both of them do know the process and have been using it for the last 4yrs, but I must say we were both very proactive and phoned not only the soicitors but SGR too on numerous occasions, we were just lucky to havbe been living here.
