Does anyone know who is running for President of Naranjos garden 2, is it still Steven, as ive e mailed recently yet with no reply.

Presume you saw the warning letter Giles? Any thoughts??

The AGM for Naranjos is now less than 10 days away  (24th Nov) yet no information has been received from ML.

This is just unacceptable and yet another sign of incompetence or maybe something else?? have any of you owners been contacted to ask if anyone is interested in standing for president or vice president??  No voting or proxy forms been sent out but more worrying no agenda.  How the hell can people get their proxy forms to the correct people with the relevant instructions with such short notice thats if we even get much notice!!!! 

I have had two emails with pdf's attached as they have promised.

There is a request for photo id as mentioned on this thread and they have told me that my president is Tomás San Nicolás who I have never heard of.

They have given me his email address but for all I know he might not be worthy of me handing our vote too. It would appear that way as I have not heard from him too date and have been spoonfed his details for the very first time a matter of two weeks before the the AGM!!!

I did get notification in the early spring that our president of garden 7 naranjos had well enough of the dealings and was exasparated beyond belief due to the way things were run at our resort and as consequence resigned almost immediately.

I'm happy to do my proxy vote as I did last year but want to make sure there's no funny business and that it will go to someone who will put it to good use!!!

Looking at your post thankfully you can see through what you are being fed!!   use you vote wisely and only give your proxy to someone you can trust

No information has been given out as to who is standing. I know Phil Mather is sick of whats been going on and isn't standing for Naranjos8, so I'm going to stand again. I think we've got a fight on our hands to get back control of the resort. I notice there has been nothing about Milleniums contract renewal and wonder if this has already been done. I for one would like them out of here and would like to see other tenders for the contract.  

You certainly have a fight on your hands Mel but if you don't take them on NOW you will find it almost impossible in the future, one certain agenda item HAS to be the re-election of the administrator OR NOT as the vote may decide.

Therein lies the route to at least stop their march to full control, muster enough votes to force a no vote to that element, at this stage that should be your primary target.

I repeat I have nothing to do with Polaris but bring you all advice based on 3 years of experience in ridding Mazarron Country Club of the same manipulative, controlling, dictatorial adminisitrator syndrome that you are currently experiencing.

We did it and then the hard work began but we have come through it a much stronger community where people care and we are now very finacially strong. We have done this without administrator and it has been hard work but so so worth it.

As I read your comments this country and the people who live here are all thieves, taking back handers for everything and ripping people off where they can, for sure a different country as I have experienced in over 15 years living with and amongst Spanish. Maybe it's because that's the way YOU are and think? Do you take your opinion from your mirror? You are accusing hard working people on and off site for all kind of crime and wrong doing, do you have any proof? If so, there is a legal system on this country which can sort that as good as "back home", if not please appologize in public and refrain from that in the future, the only thing you achieve is devaluating the dream of many thousand owners at CDA who just want to enjoy their spare time in a fantastic resort, thats what CDA is for me. If you are referring to anything I have written in your swingeing comment about this country, it's occupants or their behaviour read again. I haven't said or implied anything of the kind.

They are your words certainly not mine so which mirror are you looking in?

All of my contributions on the subject soley of the administrator and their antics of the recent months are based on my experience and the symptoms I recognise so clearly from those experiences, I doubt you are naive enough to be hoodwinked so tell me why you don't recognise those symptoms that are so synonomous with the  attempts by an Administrator to marginalise the majority of owners and manipulate a state of dependancy on themselves... at which point if successful , if you are an owner you will regret forever not having done something.

You will have read that I have said all along until my previous post here there is no need to sack the administrator, just ensure he works for you and not the other way around, however the latest moves by them to restrict the opportunity of owners unable to attend the AGM to lodge a proxy with their own confidants and in the absence of an Agenda, which is a very common trait when the Administrator wishes to restrict the voting numbershas, lead to me suggesting that your only way to halt this runaway train is to lodge a vote against them.

Therefore I have nothing to apologize for and nor will I, incidentally one of your major suppliers also supplies us but at much lower cost and does a much better job than when controlled by an administrator and thats a fact !!

One final point I have lived and worked in Spain for 9 years having set up a plant for my employer, we employ many Spaniardsand have nothing but praise for the ones we have so please don't try casting that hate stone, I also contribute very significantly on my own account to the Hacienda with my taxes.

Now Rupert for the final time, wake up and smell the coffee, make sure you vote and make sure your probable influence with ML ensures that every other owner is given an Agenda in good time, allowed to vote in an unfettered way and the nonsense of requiring proxies to be sent back to them and only admissable with a passport photocopy, which is entirely unprecedented and not called for in the HP, is rescinded.

If you achieve that you will have contributed to the well being of Condado going forward.

They cannot take anyone to court without the blessing of an EGM or AGM..that is a fact and then the only person that can take court action on behalf of the community is the President, that is also a fact.

It is sounding more serious up there by the day, I don't envy you all as it is seeming to me thay have achieved their goal already but good luck with whatever you do to try and rectify the situation.

Get real this is Spain!!  it takes years to go through the courts in the meantime..........!!!
