Car hire on site

Hi,has anyone been using the car hire people on Condado?? 

I know the web-site has been down but I have tried to email Greg and no reply yet.

I'm aware his dad was ill but is he still fulfilling his bookings?

Getting a bit concerned as I'm over on the 3rd May..

Same here!! Looking at alternatives now.

I was out last week and saw some of his cars on site.  We are booked with Gregory for June and I was also getting concerned, but I e-mailed him  last night with a query and he replied within a couple of hours.

Hi,just to confirm to anyone still worried,Greg is still away but covering bookings ok.

He emailed me asking for my mobile,and said he would email back the contact number of the person picking me up.

Gregory has really got a lot on his plate at the moment his wife is pregnant and I think due very soon(she might have had it already) and she is in the UK, Gregorys father who is in Poland is very very ill and Greg is travelling between Spain/UK/Poland, this has been going on since start of April and the guy is exhausted but he has got people on hand/site to help him out so dont dispair/panic.

I was over on the 19th his wife had the baby that day and his father also passed away the same day.

Think he is  flying between England and Poland, but he has people working on site and is still answering

his emails.

Hi Everyone

I can understand everyone's concerns regarding car hire but please try not too worry, he has never let us down. Poor Gregory has had a terrible time lately and some good friends of his on the resort are keeping the business running whilst he is coping with the sad death of his dad, and dealing with a new baby.  People on Condado have a high regard for Gregory and will continue to help him until he is back on his feet, so please just email him and he will respond but don't be too hard on him as he is a lovely guy.

I have booked to use Gregory in July he was very helpful and reasonable, especially for the seven seater with two child seats (for free), after reading all the bad reports about Goldcar who I normally end up with and have also been ripped off by with extras.

I was wondering what the procedure is for him meeting you at the airport? Does he hold up a card with your name on or meet at a certain point? Another plus will be not having to wait for 30 - 40 mins to get to goldcar desk.

Hi,what happened with me was I was given the mobile of the person that was to pick me up,I then rang as soon as I was out of the plane.

They were en-route and told me to go out of the exit at departures which is on the second fl.

Straight out of the door there are parking spaces and about 5 minutes later they arrived and took us to Condado.

You pay there and arrange the pick up which was at the Al Kasar car-park,they drop you of at departures entrance directly opposite the security gate which was handy.

Good value for money plus you can have a beer on the plane!

Firstly I would like to express my sorrow to Gregori with the loss of his father. Secondly to congratulate him on the birth of his child. I hope he gets through this difficult time relatively unscathed, as he is a "top bloke" as we say up here.

I also wish to say I am getting concerned with the comments on this site. "How do I get in contact with him." "Think I will give him a try."  "The pick up at airport was brilliant." "Heard nowt but good reports about him"

I'm sorry but I have used Gregori several times in the past. All these comments and more are "TRUE."  But now I am concerned that with all these new customers I may not be able to get a car when I want. GREGORI. You need more cars!!!

As I said at the begining. I hope he gets through this difficult time unscathed. I really really wish for his business to expand and grow, as he deserves it.  His friends who are helping him are a testament not only to this, but  to the community spirit on our magnificent resort.  Also:-  Another good and needed business on our resort can only be in everybody's interest..

So though it may mean I will not always be able able to get my car hire from Gregori because of overwhelming demand.  I advocate whenever possible we support this much needed business. Same applies to all other businesses on site.

Land clearance and site being prepared for new (temporary) clubhouse. Gets better and better. Lurrrrrvin it.
