community fees

Regarding the security and it's authority I beg to differ.... I decided one afternoon some weeks ago to go to the driving range, I live at Mazarron Country Club, however in my haste to get there I forgot to take my documentswith me. The chap on security refused point blank to allow me in even though he had the registrationof the car.

Despite all my protestations I had to leave and go to Camposol.... that doesn't sound like a public right of way to me or perhaps the security need updating on their brief. I am not being critical at all just pointing out the discrepancy between the post by Chris and the reality.

Only the outer road is public.  Inside the fence is private, and the Security company can and will turn away visitors without ID.

Unfortunately we cannot deny access to debtors, that would require a court order and then it would use of the apartment only not access to the resort.  Debtors are not issued access cards, so have to stop each time.  They are also not allowed to sign up for the Internet deal as this will be taken with the community fees.  The community has a huge amount of outstanding debt, so it is the duty of the Presidents and the Administrator to take all means necessary to recover that debt, always within the law of course.

The debtors procedure is posted on the website and on the noticeboard by the supermarket.  Any owners that misses 6 months payments and refuses to make payment or come to an arrangement to pay will be taken to court, there is a quarterly presidents meeting where legal action is approved ( last one was the 24th ) so within the next week or so the latest batch of debtors will be receiving the Burofaxes informing them of the impending court action.

And now a flippant comment …. How about turning the old sales office into a debtors prison and we can all mock the inhabitants whilst they enjoy the benefits of the gorgeous Spanish sun without Aircon!!

Is there a list of debtors published for all to see, or is it restricted to presidents?

There will be a list of the latest batch of debtors against which we will be taking court action published in the minutes of the March presidents meeting.  These will be published within the next 10days.

I know you refused once but im willing to pay for the paint now!!!!!...lol
