Quickest driving route to CDA

Can anyone suggest the quickest driving route from Murcia Airport to CDA? 

We have normally used a satnav which takes us down the AP7 past Alcazares, on to the A30, across the MU602 past Fuente Alamo and then down the MU603.  I just wondered if anyone thought there was a faster way to CDA .

Sorry if this is dealt with elsewhere but the only info i could find related to satnav co-ordinates...

I think numers of the road are a bit different and you may have old directions. The easiest way - just like you said start on AP7 direction Cartagena, take 2nd or 3rd exit signposted Torre Pachecco. Continue on this road until you will see Mar Menor resort on you right and Torre Pachecco Spa Hotel on the left (big red one on the side ot the road). On first roundabout after them go right (it's a bypass to go round Torre Pachecco) then continue on this road for about 5-6 miles until you will get to the roundabout - take second exit (first is a service road) - should be sign posted Fuente Alhama and possiblby A30. You will stay on this road for about 5 kilomenters, pass small village and get to really big roundabout over A30 road. Go straight ahead (I think 2nd or 3rd exit with signs towards Fuente Alhama and Alhama de Murcia), I think it will be RM2 or RM3. Stay on this road until you will see a road marker for 4th kilometer, signs for Mazzaron. Take the exit, go around roundabout and 3rd exit. You are almost there. Condado will be on 2nd exit from this road on 5th kilometer signposted Condado de Alhama

Sorry, I know it looks long and painfull but actually it is really simple - you will get here without any problems

I think there are a few ways to get from airport to CdA.

I have driven both the routes below and also stayed on the AP7 longer and exited closer to Mazzarron.

All in all the difference between all the routes is maybe 5-10 minutes.

I would say it depends on whether you prefer to stay on the motorways or use the smaller roads.  Also I know some people like to stay on major roads if its getting dark unless they know the route.

The route Gregory suggested is one I have used often enough and from talking to others is considered the quickest.  But your route would not be much slower (have done it myself) and keeps you on motorways the whole way which can make the drive easier if you've come in on an evening flight after a longish day

Think the MU602 is now RM2 and then you'd take the RM23 off that to CdA (joins the RM3/MU603 before Campasol). Think the MU603/RM3 runs from "Mazzarron" to Totana.
