new sports bar to open next to tennis courts !!!!!

dont know if any of you are aware that the bar that used to be open next to tennis courts is opening in the next 2 weeks as a new sports bar , an englishman has bought it and will be opening it within the next two weeks just to make his money over the summer...

providing his drinks are cheaper than clover , this should make clover bring they're prices down aswell , so some good news for the site!!!!

please dont listen to rumours

 how do you know its a rumour ??  it might be a fact 

It dose sound like bul### it can take months to get a licences for a bar in a new persons name.

There has been a lot of rumours around on-site recently, there is no use speculating.  please wait a few days, we are expecting to be in a position to give an official announcement soon.

 If the paperwork is all in order and utilities paid up, then there is no reason why it would take more than a few of weeks to open a bar in another name.  

Best of luck to whoever it is taking this on.

 Don't know Spanish licensing law but in the UK it is possible to operate under an existing licence whilst the transfer application is being considered.

had a walk down to this bar before, there was a spanish guy there checking the meters. dont look as if its gonna be a bar opening in 2weeks so i askedx him and he had no knowledge of a bar opening

Sounds like we may have something positive soon but two weeks I very much doubt.

Really hope the restaurant is open for the summer holidays.

Rumours of the sports bar opening soon are true finance is in place and at present its just subject to contracts.

The new owners are not just leasing the bar but all the sports facilities so hopefully things can move forward now. The thread has always been about getting investment in so now someone is investing I hope the support comes from within the community.

If the people support the the prices can obviously be cheaper than the Clover. Infact to be honest cant see anyware being more expensive.

 something is defo happening - i have a aprtment in jardine 5 and there have been guys in mercs around taking fotos and measuring up a few things...the courts have been fixed, in terms of new wire around the footy court and new glass. the nets also bn fixed on the tennis courts...why would all this be getting done this week.....
