The "new" flightchecker from Martin's tips

Ive sent a message to Ammex, Interlaken and MLH re the construction workers parking in our visitor parking spaces behind blocks 11, 11A, 16, 17, 25, & 26. These visitor spaces are also for blocks 9, 10, 12, 13, 14 & 15.

These spaces are really useful to use for ease of in and out of the apt during the day as they are right next to the entrance to the blocks. You could always use the secure underground parking at night if you wish.

Ive also mentioned it is normal in the construction industry for workers to have their own car park away from the habitated resident areas both for security and safety reasons.

It may help if a number of us also request that they do not park in our spaces due to the above and it also looks unsightly.

Very good point - we were there this week and it was a nuisance that construction traffic was using these spaces opposite our unit in Block 15. Especially as the "secure" underground car park is not secure with the door permanently up and leakage all over the floor. I reported this to Ammex but have heard nothing even about our registration.

Good news.

The lawyer from Interlaken has responded and instructed ARCASA to create a contractors car park and install a barrier at the main roundabout manned by a security guard and this has been done according to one of the purchasers who was there last week.

They have also cleaned up the main road and informed the builders ARCASA that if anyone manages to get through this and park in our areas, they will be fined by the "Policia Local"

The Local Police have already issued fines to the builders who have managed to park there and now apparently the message has got through to them and they are not parking there.
