Whilst I am sure you will all have your favourites can we recommend the Carjet internet site for quotes.
I believe that they are as cheap as anybody else but the also (from personal experience) offer:
1) You do not have to pay until you pick up the car.
2) They do not charge you if you fail to turn up - we have done this.
3) They make a no fuss refund if you return the car early - we booked for 6 weeks and returned after only 2.5 weeks - if anything the refund seems to be more than expected and they seem to have also refunded the fuel that was left in the tank because of our unexpected return to UK. One email to them which was forwarded to their customer services and the refund was paid into to our credit card. No paperwork, no reference to holiday insurance and barely time to worry about what was going on.
We have no commercial relationship with Carjet other than being customers and are only making this post to make everyone aware that this is a good company to deal with.
