The weather was unbeleivably warm during the day - people were sunbathing at Guardamar on Saturday and it was 24 degrees in Almoradi on Monday!
The pool area doesn't get any sun at this time of year though 'cos the sun is too low and the evenings were quite cool (but didn't need a big coat, just a fleece or cardi).
It did feel quite cool in the apartment at night/evening/morning but we didn't bother putting the warm air con on - we bought an oil filled rad (9 bar on offer at Intermarche for 39.95 euros) and just switched that on in the hall before we went out in the evening and left all doors open (apart from kitchen) and that did the job, in fact we had to get up in the night to switch it off 'cos we were too warm.
We just had one blanket on each bed (with the throws) and that was fine but I think it is getting colder now. We struggled to buy blankets in the UK but managed to get some on the Almoradi market (didn't want duvets 'cos they wouldn't fit in washer).
Bet you're thinking, typical Maxine, can't just say yes or no - has to go into a full detailed account!
