Hi All
Re the photo in the Mirror on Wednesday, we had a good old groan when we saw it, Guardamar is our local beach when in Spain, and Tynemouth is our local beach(at the bottom of the street!) at home.

Tynemouth is a beautiful beach, this stretch is called the long sands and is prolific with surfers whatever the weather , shame we don't get enough of the GOOD weather!

Hi Tonden

I can only re-iterate what Pat has said. We were very lucky as we bought through Palmera and everything went o.k. however we have friends in a similar situation to yourselves, also having bought through Palmera and paid a 30,000 pounds sterling deposit against a property in Almeria which will not be built.

They are now seeking independant legal advice (which you might want to do also!)with a hope of recouping at least some of their money.

Good luck!

Hi All

We are flying into Murcia on 10th Feb and have booked the car through Do You Spain and Auriga, the voucher states mini bus pick up outside(as usual).

I'll post  on our return to keep everyone up to date.

By the way they had a special offer on their small cars so we got a C3 or equivalent for 6 days for 60 euros!

Hi Pitby

Thanks for the info on coffee break spanish, we are going to Spanish Lessons on Wednesday evenings but they move pretty quickly and the old brain just doesn't take it in like it used to! so I downloaded these podcasts and they're great!!!!!!

I put them on my MP3 player and even though I'm not very computer savvy, it was easy.

I've been listening to them travelling on the metro to and from work for the last week and I think they're just fab so muchas gracias!!

Hi

We are in Almoradi and usually hire a car at the airport.I know that there's a bus from Alicante to Almoradi and also the train from Alicante to San Isidro or Callosa.

Sorry this is not much help really as you have to get a bus from the airport into Alicante first!
