I'm getting the hang of this system now so I thought I would take the opportunity of introducing myself to any potential Birdie Club Residents.  My wife (Lesley) and I (Brian) will be moving full-time to Spain as soon as the house is completed (ours is No 16 (Townhouse).  I'm interested to know of any other people who will be living there permanently, and would like to take the opportunity of inviting you round for a drink as soon as you arrive.

Please let me know if you are out there (I'd hate to be the only one).  I'm a dab hand at DIY etc. so I'd be pleased to help anybody that need a hand when you move in.

My wife Liz & I have  an appartment & we look forward to meeting everyone as things take their final shape. We are still in the UK but I fell in love with the place a couple of years go and am hoping it will fulfill its potential as a beautiful place of refreshment & possibly retirement. We last saw the place personally a year ago & the last pictures we have are from January so your news in these messages is encouraging.

Let me introduce myself I am steve and married to Julia and we have bought an appartment at the birdie club. We will be next out in Spain in May to see how things are going and to have a break. I am surprised to hear about the completion date being June as the latest I was told from the agent was August but more likely October. I last visited in December and they looked a lot closer to completion than that so maybe we're in for a surprise when we're over in May.

We hope to meet lots of the new owners when we move in so looking forward to that. Just hope the place lives up to its promise.

We've bought an apartment at Birdie Club and we'll visit in Alcaidesa during the coming weekend (28-30th April). Will any of you be around there at the same time? It would be nice to meet you!

Hi all,

My wife (Katie) and I (Gideon) will be moving in to townhouse no. 6. We having been renting in Alcaidesa for the past 6 months and have really enjoyed it here. We went up to the Birdie Club a couple of days ago and the development looks great, the finish of the house is better than expected and the view from the roof terrace also surpassed expectations; only downside is there is a huge amount of building work going on in the surrounding area, so it is a little noisy and there are a lot of lorries and cranes around.

I look forward to meeting fellow owners very soon for drinks and perhaps a round of golf.
