Birdie Club Completion Date

Does anyone know of the latest estimate for the completion of Birdie Club in Alcaidesa?  The latest I heard was April 07 but this seems unlikely given the current state and the speed of work...

I contacted the developer 2 weeks ago and was told that they were in target for a June completion date.  I understand that the New clubhouse is due to be completed by June as there is a "grand opening" event being planned therefore, I assume that the Birdie Club is being timed to meet the same sort of deadline.

I'm going over to Alcaidesa mid March and should obtain better info then

Just to add further confusion - I contacted my solicitor who then spoke to Ros y Falcon.  He was told that the target completion date was May 2007.  I'll be going over in March and can provide an update.  Either way, it seems to be May or June 2007, which fits in perfectly with my retirement.  I do find it irritating that the developers never respond to e:mails with requests for information - is this normal.

Thanks to both Gareth and Brian for your replies.  Since my question, I have also been in touch with Ros y Falcon and have been told a similar story - i.e. that completion is expected in May and that the properties will be available to move into in June.  We have our fingers crossed that the Habitaction certificate doesn't hold things up, but hopefully Gareth is right, and the completion is being timed to coincide with the new golf club.  Perhaps we will all get free invites to the grand opening?!  Brian, my partner and I are currently renting a property in Alcaidesa, so we are almost on-site ourselves.  It is difficult to get firm answers from the developers, even in person, which is why I was curious about what others had been told, but it does seem they are telling us all roughly the same thing.

We got the same information for the completion date, June, when we contacted our representative there some weeks ago. We'll visit there at the end of April / beginning of May - already looking forward to it very much!!!

Thanks for all the updates on the completion of the Birdie Club. My husband and myself  (Jim and Brenda) are heading out end of April, beginning of  May also. We hope to get an idea of when we can start the move in. We're from Northern Ireland and are looking forward to the apartment as a retreat from bustle.looking forward to getting to meet our neighbours.

We visited our apartment again yesterday and were very pleased to see that it is almost finished - even having been cleaned!  The townhouses are lagging behind a little but there were plenty of workmen on site - more than we've seen before.  They are planting palm trees and making a start on the landscaping.  We were told again that the whole development should be completed in May but that move-in dates are still dependent on the habitacion certificate, which could just be a matter of days but, equally, could take weeks, there is no way of knowing.

We have also been told that it looks like a June completion for our appartment. My wife ( Liz) & I are hoping - like others below - that the place will fulfill its promise as a beautiful place of refreshment. We look forward to meeting new neighbours. This is my first post so I hope I have got the hank of this OK.
