Golf Course Membership

Today i tried to purchase the 1 Year Family membership for 1 Course, for Condado.

I did this at La Torre as we have no Shop here at the moment.

The Staff there were very helpful but could not take my money.

They confirmed that Membership must be purchased before 31st December 2009, but the computer would not accept Condado De Alhama.

After phoning her boss she has taken my details and will get back to me, as the Computer has to be updated to reflect our Course. Hopefully this will happen soon? and I can go back to her and join the club?

Whilst there one of their profesionals said our course will not open till January.

Seems lots of PW employees are told different tales?

La Torre can take your money now for Condado Membership.

You have to sign a contract, pay up then they put you on the computor system.

Whilst there the lady (Noelia) confirmed if you use a 50% discount voucher it is 50% off 80€

Where do you get the vouchers Sonatigh?

I think Sonatigh means the new polaris discount card that gives 50% of the €80 golf price.

Yes the voucher (one) comes with the Discount Club card one of the six you get when you buy the card.

The discount rate is 40€ twilight 30€

Is the card discount off the full €80 euro price as well, or can you get a discount off the owners fee - if it is off the full price then not worth having for golf!

As i have stated  earlier you only get discount off non discount prices so for golf it's off 80€ and yes its not worth buying the card for a one off discount for the golf, but is worth it if tou want a night in the Intercontinental Hotel and the other vouchers Golf lesson, Massage etc and for the 50% off restaurant fees if youeat more than x meals. Everyone to their own.

thanks Mick, I understood your earlier post, but I was meaning the ongoing golf discount, as I thought someone had previously said that they were told that the 20% discount you get with the card (not voucher) was off the owners fees. I wasn't meaning that the other benefits are not worth having, I was simply meaning the ongoing golf discount.

Unfortunately PW doe not give discount on discount fees? shame.
