Paradise Lost

Did anyone see that episode of  `Spain-Paradise Lost` on Tuesday...I think? It was about Spanish developments that had gone pear shaped and people who had lost their deposits etc.........Although it was supposed to be a `current` situation they showed footage of CDP, as it was  about 18 months ago.

Nothing was actually mentioned about the development, but doesn`t it just show how inaccurate these programmes can be, they must just have toured Spain looking for any old building sites to `pad out` the programme.

Maybe they will use CDP as a more positive example in the episode next week......

Oh my gosh, episode 2 was even worse, what a non programme.

I dont want to be cynical but i thought the people in Benidorm with the bar for sale wanted to sell it?

Why did it say Se Alquila then?

Oh my gosh...from me too regarding episode 2!! CDP was on again but it looked even earier footage......Like Richard I don`t want to appear cynical but the positive aspect they showed was the Marbella er...`Jet Set`....personally I`ve not seen anything so tacky for a long time, that strange estate agent lady who was supposed to be the high priestess of `society` to me just sums up the Spain I personally would want to avoid like the proverbal barge pole....loved the dolpins on the ceiling tho...er not!!

I think what this programme highlighted is the void between those who want to live in a British Community in the sun with, bacon & eggs, Sunday roasts & kareoke nights and those of us who love San Juan because it`s a million miles away from that....just hope it stays that way.
