Several of my owners are still waiting for pool keys. Some urbanisations (like the one we live on) opens the pools April to October, has anyone heard anything?

Las time I asked I was told April.

Thanks

Just back from CDP yesterday for our first holiday in our house on phase 2 and we were told by Patricia that she would open the gate to tho pool on our phase but no keys would be issued due to health and safety issues. She would then lock the gate after we have used the pool. She said that the pools are usually used in the summer months. We are back in May and would want the use of the pool then. The last 2 weeks have been very warm but Saturday night there were storms with a lot of heavy rain and the road out of San Juan towards Aguilas was shut due to flooding. We left yesterday evening and the weather was showers and sunny spells but very cool out of the sun quite breezy. We would like to thank Stuart & Denise (almeriastu ) for all there help as we could not have set everything up without them and would recomend there services to anyone setting up in there new homes.

I had an email from Patricia today.  She's happy to open the pool gates when she arrives in the morning but she has to close them when she goes.  Maybe we could chip in and have them heated or put a cover over them.  Good for winter holidays!

When we were over there a couple of weeks ago the pools were filthy on the bottom. and the gates were still locked. There seems to be only  a small number of people posting on this forum though  I've just been amazed when you look at the amount of people registered under Calas Del Pinar. How do we form a united front to go to the Pulpi Council and speeden up the license for the pools?  I thought once we bought our house the problems would be finished.  Patricia has said the licenses will be through by June but as usual this is nothing concrete.  We've waited four years on our holiday home and still we don't have a basic facility - the pool.

We are back over for 16 days next Tuesday 19th May we were told by Praticia that we would be able to use the pool then and she would let us have the key but she had to lock up afterwards. When we were over this March our solicitor told us that because no mamagement comitee had been set up yet & we are not paying any maintainance fees yet that they should not give us access to the pool because of health & safety issues. We are hoping that Patricia is true to her word & she will let us use the pool next week but maybe she has now been instructed not to give keys out by her bosses. We will certainly be giving her some grief if not so.I know that phase 1 pool was in use last year so we will be using theres if phase 2 is not up & running as promised.I wiil let you know how we get on when we return.

I think you might be greatly disappointed with phase 1 pool. We were over a couple of weeks ago and the pool was filthy. It was locked but you wouldn't want to go anywhere near it.

Don't get your hopes up - but a couple of guys were cleaning both the phase 1 and 2 pools today. I say no more. . . . . . . .

Brilliant! Let's hope it's a regular occurence. That must have been me complaining yesterday on the forum.

By the way, Stu, I like the new signature.  It's an uncanny resemblance!

Not sure if what i saw was correct but it looked like a heated discussion around the pools of p3 by some dads playing with their kids and a another bloke (fully dressed) who looked like he was telling them they must  leave the pool area.

When i passed by an hour later veryone had gone and the gate was locked up.

Im guessing p1 pool is going to be very busy as all my owners are telling me to send my renters round there.

Peinsa need to get a grip on this before a riot breaks out, the spanish people i saw did not look happy at all.

Dont shoot the messenger!

The covenants in the deeds clearly state Phase 1 pool is for those on this phase only.  When saying, this I would like to emphasis we are owners on a later phase, so we are also subject to the same frustrations as fellow buyers.

Saving grace is how close the development is to the beach!

This is Penisa issue, which needs to be resolved, or alternatively the pool cleared of water until it can be used at a later date.

Currently it is giving a misleading impression the pool is in full use - except for the small sign on the gates!

Given we have approached July and a busy period, Penisa really need to sort out the pools so that it can even in the short term be used.

A few weeks ago on the face of it, the pool looked clean, so it is a matter of understanding what the issue is - are they reluctant to allow useage due to health and safety but it is clean and safe to swim in or is the pool water not in a fit condition - either way, Penisa need to address this.

From experience, the only way to address this is face to face in the office - if you can get some Spanish on side this will probably help.

Quick update. The pool on phase 2/3 has been open past few days and keys are available.

Ive just cut some from another owners for my owners. Hopefully thelock wont be changed again.

No idea if license was granted but i saw 'our' pool man talking to the architect the other day.
