Community fee payment

Hi All

Just to let you know we have had a direct debit payment taken form our bank account for the Commuity Fees for the amount of 347.97 euros . I presume this is for the first 3 mths Jan - Mar 09 although we have had no notification form RPM, to say  when this was going to be deducted, just what we have read on EOS. I presume this is an amount of 116.00 euros a month which was the very first amount mentioned. We are in Jardine 1- 2 bed apartment. The last figure we had was 93.00 euros, so not to sure about the figures. It would have been nice to have received an email from RPM to say what and when this was happening.

Just had a look and they have taken mine as well which I am pleased they are finally doing, but has also been taken at the higher rate, anyone know why?

We had an e mail from RPM informing us that the initial amount for the last quarter would be at the higher rate, but then next quarter would bwe at the lower rate. Here's the e mail.

As you completed on February´09, then your first payment for the communtiy
will start in March, the
amount to be paid is 79.29 euros per month.

We have prepared a new budget to reduce the share to be paid monthly, so if the
community is agree with it, your fee will be 68.41 Euros per month.

The meeting to approve the new budget will be on 16th of May, as you probably
had been informed by email or post. If everybody is agreed , hen the new budget
will be valid from May.

The money will be taken out from you bank account, so I will need your details,
because our system has no records.

Firstly, we will only charge for March and at the end of june, we will charge
for April-June

Just taken a look and they haven't taken mine yet, perhaps PGM is paying mine as well .

My fees have been debited, 2- bed J13, €296, which is at the original rate. 

Does anyone know if they will be refunding the difference to the new budget fees, come the next billing period?

Hi Ted,

No, I believe the new budget only takes effect from the date it was approved i.e May, so Jan to Mar would be at the old rate.

There is a Presidents meeting next Saturday ( 6th ) so hopefully we will have more info after that.

Will have to keep an eye on the account for the next week or so. In the mean time i have emailed RPM to ensure everything is set up but I have a sneaky suspicion I won't get a response any time soon!

I now know what I should be paying for the first three months - 389.15 for a 3 bed on Naranjos 2

Just had 338 Euros taken from my account - 2 bed in Los Naranjos Jardin 8. No indication or any form of message to say that it was about to happen. Can't even recall providing them with my bank details. I completed on 15 Dec 08, so assume this figure includes back date for Jan thru March?

We've just had 301.53 taken from our account - and we have definitely not filled in and returned the bank details form - they must be getting the details from PW.

I don't think they can be getting bank details from PW, as they have just (last week) asked us to give them our bank details as they didn't have them. We completed in Feb by POA, and from what I can gather, they are with other forms that are signed on completion. Maybe it's because we completed by POA that RPM didn't have our bank details. Just a guess.

Well, looks like I'm the winner so far, €410 for a two bed in Naranjos 1 .  Me thinks they have got it wrong somewhere along the line, so guess who I'll be after monday morning.

We've had more taken that expected too.

Can anyone clarify a point please. are payments pro-rata for any part months, i.e. we completed on 16th January, so I would assume we would only pay 1/2 of the fees for this month. Would be interested if anyone has asked RPM this question. We did about 2 months ago, but still not had a response!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were told our 2 bed first floor apartment on Naranjos Garden 3 would be 78€ month and have had 292.04€ taken for Jan-March. I also think someone needs to learn how to add up!

Rachel & Simion that figure sounds about right, remember the first payment is from the old budget figures.

Are you a 2 or 3 bed?  Mine's a 2, the last letter from RPM said the fees would be €345.

I am currently in dispute with RPM, Before the meeting I was quoted 1208.94 euros per annum for a 3 bed in jardines 12 which is 100.74 euros per month. This was by email on 06/03/09 from Victoria. Now the new figures are set, the monthly figure for after the meeting have come down as promised, but they they have taken a figure from my account for Jan/09 to april/09 at 120.75 euros per month. This is unacceptable to us, how can you receive a figure of 100.74 per month, then be promised a reduction and then find the figure has in fact gone up for the first four months. I have had an email from a lali asking for my phone number so she can explain, but this crew are so unprofessional it is beyond belief. I told them not to deduct money from my account until I received a satisfactory explanation but they took it anyway! The sooner we are organised so we can kiss this lot goodbye the better.

Payments are taken from the month following your completion.

You get a reduced bill before January, Then Jan - March at the original budget figure, then 3 months at a time at new budget figure. Pre completion dues are taken I believe at end of June.

Your last post said that you have to pay pre-completion dues. I thought that until you actually complete you don't need to pay any fees ie: we completed March this year so we should only start paying from April onwards. Is this right or have I understood this wrong?
