Golf Suite Owners unite

Good morning buyers.

We own a appartement in Naranjos but I like to read the threads on the forums.
Don't panic. It really isn't as bad as you think.

I have heard that Parador wrote this but only with the interest in resale houses!
PW has allready started a discussion with Parador because it is very bad to make up this roomers.

In Naranjos we pay Euro 78,= for the community. Maybe a little bit higher as you expected but not Euro 130,= or even higher.

The Foro is really looking beautiful and will open in july! A supermarket and bar will open then and shortly after that a restaurant will open.
The golfcourse will be ready somewhere around october  and that is very important. They are thinking about opening a hotel (like La Torre and Mar Menor) instead of only a clubhouse. The hotels in the other resorts ar full every weekend because of the golf players!! 

And as last you have a guarantee of your payments made bij the BANK, not PW.

So try to relax and don't get to upset by all the scary threads (I did exactly the same in november and it was freaking me out).
And if you really want to relax, visit our beautiful appartment which you can rent.

Has anybody got any news from Polaris World.

Our solicitor says the Golf Suites are not being built but we have not been able to get confirmation direct from PW.

 Have any Golf Suite owners received bank guarantees?

PW will not put anything in writing, asked lawyer to follow procedure with a registerred letter/fax sent through post office whereby a company is legally obliged to provide answer ( or so I am told) I have a guarantee for one payment but refused to make further as bank guarantee not forthcoming. We may have to form a group to carry out a "class action" . This will probably end up with one group who do not have guarantees - they will be  only suing polaris and a second group who have guarantees who will seek recourse from Bank as well.

Hi all,

My solicitor has informed me that all GS owners will be offered key ready properties on Jardines and Naranjos at GS prices.  If so, this is a big reduction.  Has anyone heard of, or been offered this deal?  Do they have so many vacant apartments if the majority take up the offer?

Mirador "owners" have been told its full price and PW will not transfer deposit to lower price. If not so please advise lawyer details so I can pass this on

Keeve / All - I can confirm that Polaris ARE offering unsold/key ready apartments at a discount - we talked to them last week and "offers are on the table" - I'm not prepared to go into our personal details but I suggest if you are interested in trying to make a deal to transfer from Golf Suites into a completed apartment on other phases, NOW is the time to do it  - PW are being more co-operative now than they have been for months so I guess they have no 'short term' plans to start building Golf Suites and are willing to offer alternatives - c ya - Patony 

Looks like good news for anyone who wants to transfer - time to start making some calls maybe.

Assuming you have been in Spain can you give us an update on what is happening on Condado at the moment. Particularly interested in how the town cente and golf course are coming along.

Perhaps it would be best if we stuck it out for the development we bought into, and not weaken our position by considering any alternatives.  Has anyone got it from PW that GS will definitely not proceed?

There are numerous posts on the main site describing how wonderful CdA is and will be, so  I find it hard to accept that GS a lost cause yet, and I will continue to harass PW on a regular basis, even though their response is laughable.

We had a VERY interesting phone call from Maria in Polaris Sales today offering some very good deals. Dont wanna say any more at the moment, sorry.

We were over in Alhama last weekend with Maria and Polaris were offering some interesting deals to GS owners only but cant go into detail...sorry. No new news in regards of GS going ahead or not....my advice is to contact Polaris if you are a GS owner!

We have had a lot of communication with Polaris Sales team in the last few days offering us some very very attractive propositions as an alternative to Golf Suites. They are also arranging free flights & 5 star accomadation for 2 nights possibly this Fri/Sat. So...my glass is very much half full.

There does seem to be a lot of "talk" from PW about offers to GS owners but has anybody actually had confirmation in print, other than email, that there is an offer on the table.

So far we have been offerred three apartments only to be told a few days after we have accepted that "sorry" but that one was already sold when offerred.

Now the prices are creeping up.................................

We have agreed with Polaris that our Golf Suite deposit has been transferred to a Penthouse style apartment and are completing soon. Have any other "ex" Golf Suite owners transferred to another property?

This seemed a better option than trying to get a refund of deposits. Out of interest has anyone managed to get a refund or promise of a refund?

Yes we have been offered penthouse, but decided to opt for pursuing polaris for a refund of payments made.

Good evening, I find myself in a similar predicament in that I am not prared to let PW keep my money for ever and a day!  I am struggling however to even get any response or acknowledgemen by phone or email from PW.  Does anyone have details of the addresses of their main sales offices in Murcia or their Legal offices?  Unfortunately the time has come to pay visits to both and make my point vocally in front of other prospective clients!  I don't want to do it but  I have no option, I'm disgusted b their complete disregard for ther customers!Any responses appreciated!
