We used John and Carol of "Transiberia"  to collect from Chelmsford in Essex but they will collect from anywhere in the UK.

We found them to be very reliable and competitively priced. They will take a full load or a few boxes or bits.

Hi all

We always book car hire on do you spain dot com (wont let me put a link on here). The prices are competitive and include full insurance (with the exception of tyres, windscreen and the like for which there is usually a charge of 3e per day). Although you do not know who the hire company is until you've booked I then email and ask that the booking be made with Auriga Crown.

Although the booking confirmation says that for bookings of 4 days or more the car is provided with a full tank of fuel and is returned empty we have always asked that we return it full and so far this has never been a problem. Sorry no guarantees given with this information..............

Hi All

Can't say I am surprised at PW's attitude to giving refunds. In the dealings we had with them when we first discovered that the Golf Suites were not being built they were more than happy to discuss transferring to another property but had little interest in discussing refunds.

As it turned out, after a bit of negotiation the offer to transfer to a Penthouse style apartment was too good to turn down and we have since completed and are more than happy with our purchase. Can't wait to get out there in a couple of weeks and start furnishing.

We are still front line golf which was our main requirementand the course is looking fantastic. The Al Kazar with The Clover, supermarket and further restaurants opening is within easy walking distance which would have been a car ride or a very long walk from the Golf Suites.

We cannot understand why more Golf Suite buyers have not transferred or perhaps they have and are just not saying. Surely there are more people out there who feel that a positive outcome has come from the Golf Suites not being built.

Hi All

We have agreed with Polaris that our Golf Suite deposit has been transferred to a Penthouse style apartment and are completing soon. Have any other "ex" Golf Suite owners transferred to another property?

This seemed a better option than trying to get a refund of deposits. Out of interest has anyone managed to get a refund or promise of a refund?
