parking spaces

Should have bought a TOP floor PENTHOUSE...............  Because the parking is so bloody tight you wont want to be forced to move and have to park again.

Jardines sound like a new twist on an old game.  We used to throw our car keys into a bowl, and hope the person you fancied picked up your car keys.  Hell now you just park on a random number and in my case hope Ted H dosen't live there.  Know its a long walk from Penthouse block 1 to supermarket but  I maybe walking from now on.

Quick thought.

I assume all this numbers spaces is a Jardines thing.  In Narajos none of the spaces are numbered, or at least they wern't last time I went, and I don't think that there is a parking space on my deeds!   Having been over three time's this year and been the only person in my garden I don't think that parking is going to be a problem, even when all the apartments are conpleted.  Just look at La Torre, Mar Menor etc, never found parking a problem there and I don't believe CdA will be any different, with estimated 30% occupancy figues there should be plenty of spaces to choose from.  Marking the spaces, in my opinon, was a mistake.

I wondered that about our parking spaces.  Haven't seen our deeds yet, but we paid the same price, or there abouts,  as Jardines and I'm sure it included the parking space.  Also, haven't RPM quoted somewhere that our fees are for our apartments, outside space, and parking space?  There is a figure somewhere that when showing us how the fees are worked out,  and I can't remember the exact figures, it quotes something like 2,500 apartments and 2,500 parking spaces.  I remember saying to Martyn,  there must be a space for every one.

Agree that it might not be a good idea numbering them,  we would probably end up with one about 10 blocks away.  Can't wait for the first time we go and someones parked in the space Martyn has claimed for ours. lol

ps. according to the other forum we are the only 2 on naranjos 7 so we can have what we want.

And for my next hire car I am due to get a Citreon Berlingo so that should safely take care of 2 spaces !

Hi Ant, as you are at the opposite end,  we should be ok.  You can have as many spaces as you want down there.

Waddle, as you are next door, you may not be safe.  As we haven't bumped into each other "yet"  we may be able to share the two spaces, don't forget we have two, somewhere, I think?  That is we seem to be paying community fees for them but not sure about them being on the deeds.

It took a while for the Jardine numbers to appear, at least a couple of months after we completed back in August.

We are  in Jardine 5 and our spaces are not numbered.

How come your spaces are not numbered but ours is.

Our space is quite a few apartments down from ours.

We do have 2  wheelchair access spaces either side & each time we have been over no one has taken those spaces

We do have a few opposite overlooking the courts

they are not numbered & are nearer to us than our own spot .

We shall probably use one of those because we can see all of the spaces there from our  bedroom windows & roof terrace

When we were last over in Feb Jardin 4 where not numbered. Or at least I dont think they were and I have looked at my contract and cant see any parking space numberson them either. Mind you we where too busy coming and going frantically to notice so if they arenumbered and have parked in anyones space then tough! just joking I will take better notice when we come out on the 21st May.

Sorry to anyone that we have parked in there space.

Hope you are had a good time out in Condado - shame we couldn't meet this time.

We occasionally use the unnumbered parking spaces to the right of your apartment as it's just as easy for us as our allocated parking space.  Unfortunately in our parking space we have either a spanish family parking or its used for the storage of skips, bidets and toilets.

Our parking space is brilliant when its vacant though.
