We took the train to Valencia last year direct from Alhama via Murcia & Alicante. Took about 4 hours but it was an excellent service, ran exactly to time, nice comfortable carriages

I did struggle on the Renfe website, it's not clear on the type of tickets required but I found the website below useful, particularly the How to use Refne website section

We printed all our e tickets at home before we went. I think a return ticket was less than €50 each which was great value and you can leave your car at Alhama station free of charge

Good luck, Valencia is a fabulous city if you havent been before. We went for the Fallas festival in March, an amazing experience which we will definitely do again in the future

We've had the same problem and spent a couple of visits to Milleniun last time to try and sort it. Upshot is they can only supply a basic remote that will change channels. Not much use if you need full menu to retune etc. If you have a neighbour who has a working one they do work with any box but I appreciate its not a long term solution

We decided to bit the bullet and get a brand new box. Bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut but we lost the will to live trying to sort it out

Never had a problem getting a table but we dont tend to go at peak times, you will be fine this time of year. Think they close Sunday & Monday nights

 

The pick up service is free but you will need to call them to arrange it

Always found prices reasonable, 3 courses with a bottle of wine and one of their fabulous Irish coffees around €60 for 2

Went to the Cave on Saturday night, great as always and quite busy for March

Reviews and address details found on Trip Advisor, they offer a minibus pick up from Condado although you are restricted to set pick up and drop off times
