Stray Dog??

I know this has been brought up before, but we were over the weekend just gone and there was a dog in our garden, it was a beige dog, scruffy looking thing

anyway it was sitting by the pool, it was wet before it came to our garden so i take it it had already been for a swim in someone pool!!

has anyone else seen this dog about?  It ran off towards the penthouses.

The gates to our pool were open, maybe its a good idea to keep them shut, its bad enough the dog messing the garden, but worse in the pool

There has also been a thread re dogs on the Jardines de Alhama site.

There was mention of dogs mating etc. It does seem as if the DOG ISSUE has not been resolved.

When we are over in march I think I will call in & suggest that the letter left in the "Surgery" be posted into every one`s box.

I know that for most of us there is not a need for the letter, but I think it will hopefully be the best way to ensure all dog owners have been made a ware of the Spanish Law

The scruffy dog, yes we saw him over at Los Noranjos 4, reported it to Polaris and have not seem him today, poor thing really, may belong to a contractor not an owner he was with one of the builders on the main road.

What part of Essex Michelle? I was from Canvey Island before moving to the states 14 years ago and now in Spain.

Most of the stray dogs that you will see on Condado are just that STRAYS that have been abandoned and living rough on the Campo for months , I live on Camposol and we have abandoned Dogs mainly Puppys left by the rubbish bins in boxes or black sacks or just dumped in the bins themselves most weeks.

Just look in the local free papers and you will see that all the animal charitys look after these dogs that are found until they are homed , a bitch has puppys and they need to be fed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as there is so much unemployment in Spain (3 million plus)what do you expect.

Even Polaris Security can not stop STRAY Dogs , as I have said before they are just that STRAYS

If you would like the names of these Charitys please let me know, because if you contact them they will take the OFFENDING dogs away and try to rehome them.

Hi Michelle, Hornchurch is a nice place, Essex gets quite a rap but parts are really quite nice.

I have not been in England for 12 years apart from a short visit to good old Essex for Christmas, Before moving to Condado I was in Nashville TN, a little warmer.
