electrical goods

Hi, all .  wonder if anyone can help with this one.  have 2 bed appartment in Jardines.  If i buy electrical kitchen goods in UK will they work in Condad0?  do you need to buy integrated wahing machine and dishwasher or ordinary.

Apart from the TV I brought all my electrical goods from the UK, all work a treat.

I would buy an ordinary washing machine and dishwasher if I were you because intergrated appliances are more expensive (unless you are thinking of buying cupboard doors to attach)

If you do buy in the UK to take over to Spain make sure that the guarantees are still usable just n case your electrical appliances break down or are faulty!

is the fittings for the washing machine and dishwasher just cold water fed or both hot and cold?

Dont know how economic it is to buy the appliances in the UK and take them over but we used Real Domestics for FFreezer, DWasher, WMachine a microwave, kettle and a toaster 1430 euro's all delivered, fitted and packaging removed.. Turned up on the agreed day and are on site frequently. Our package has a FFreezer that matches the worktop- which we like and the appliances are TEKA the same as the oven and hob and extractor. If you prefer a steel finish thats a tad more expensive but they do that too.

You will have to change the plugs and it's cold water feed only, but if necessary you could always fit a 'Y' connector.

Julie, my dad did change them after a few weeks but it wan't really necessary with an adapter.

Where is Real Domestics and how long do you have to wait for delivery.  We are coming over for few days in Feb and hope to get washing machine sorted out.
