Thanks Jan and Ham,

We have used the candles before for midges- I'd forgotten about that.

I'm advised by my better half that we have a plug in already in the apartment that he purchased and had plugged in in October- but not because he thought there'd be mozzies just for any bugs. I hadnt noticed it at all!!

Probably get a few more of those for when the weather hots up

A purely frivilous question but- are we likely to be bothered by mosquitos as a result of all the water on CdA. We have always been quite lucky on our visits to Spain and haven't had a problem and I wondered if they are specific to certain areas.

Have just been going through the photo's on site with a visitor who made the comment about mosquitos being a problem.

If so what the best way of dealing with them- I've seen you can get plug in deterrents- would anyone recommend them?

Thats more or less what we expected but the comment :-

'The figures are higher than expected because there are less properties, next year will be better because Villa Janas and La Isla will be completed.'

puts a different slant on it (as we understood it) Present owners cant be due to  pay for what is due from those owners because they are not yet released. How can they affect what we are due to pay now?. They will begin to pay as soon as they complete.

I suppose we should all be glad if this is the case that they have only cancelled Mirador!
