Different size rooms

Hello,

I'm in the process of sorting out furniture ready for our completion in February. One supplier who's been very helpful has commented on the fact that the room sizes vary quite a bit and could cause problems when choosing furniture. I found this a bit worrying because I intend sorting out furniture ready for when I go out.

Has anyone had experience of this potential problem or knows if room sizes actually are that different.

 Yes they are.  We stayed in an apartment for our first week and the room sizes were different by nearly 1 foot....overall apartment sq footage was same but a bigger bedroom and smaller lounge etc

we stayed in an appt in the jardines, while furnishing ours, i took a measurement of their sitting room and found that their back wall was 100mm longer than ours, however our kitchen back wall was 65mm longer than theirs, same as a build in the uk, if things are tight go and measure yourself, or it may not fit,

ps measure twice fit once
