Alicante Airport?

Has anyone come to Condado from Alicante Airport?  We have been flying into Murcia but can get cheaper flights to Alicante and off season flights, only one carrier flies into Murcia from Scotland in the Winter. I know it takes longer but not sure how long and how difficult the route is?  Thanks, Andrea & Paul

Hi, we've been twice to Alicante.

Takes about 1 hour 15 minutes if the road is clear.

Just follow signs for Murcia, then Almeria, Alhama de Murcia and finally Mazzeron. Easy-peazy lemon squeezy.

motorway all the way! it takes an hour, always fly to Alicante from Gatwick as much cheaper & better flights times.

We have used Alicante- just on 1 hr 5mins door to door and really straight forward. We travelled back to Alicante on a Friday morning in what passes for rush hour traffic and still had no delays. It took longer to collect our car from the hire company!

Must have been in your car Jan, took us about an hour and 5 mins.

The only problem we find is that the budget airlines now tend to go to the new terminal 2, you then have to walk all the way down to terminal 1 to get your hire car.

Easy drive as well from the airport about 100Km on the A7 motorway then pick up on the road down towards Mazarron just after the meat processing plant 'Ezpo' I think its called on the outskirts of Alhama.

We flew to Alicante for the first time last week, it took exactly 1hour... That was Mark driving though, may be longer if it were me. 

Very easy and will do it again as times and days are better at the moment.
