Security

Please be careful - we left our appartment furnished in October and very kindly a couple from this forum went to check our appartment last week and they found that there was a problem with the front door and our window was wide open!  They closed the window and reported the faulty door which PW have confirmed has now been fixed but we have had no response from PW as to why the window was open.  Workmen had been in doing snagging but this is totally unacceptable.  We have had a lot of problems with PW Customer Svcs and this has been the icing on the cake.  We hope to have no further problems and look forward to hopefully coming out to a clean and snag free appartment in a few weeks.  Andrea & Paul

Sorry to hear your bad experience.  I would suggest you take the key away from PW and put it into a trustworthy keyholder now you have furniture in there, even though PW gives you 6 months free keyholding and 9 times out of ten most people don't have a problem with them doing that but there has been some horror stories with workman using the apartments for their own convenience. 

Lets face it PW doesn't give something for nothing, they only give us the 6 months free keyholding service for their own convenience!

Hi,

Sometime between our trips out in July and September some tools went missing from our apartment. During that time Polaris were keyholding and there were a few snagging visits and the furniture was delivered and fitted, so it was impossible to know who the 'culprit' was.

That's the risk you run when Polaris are keyholding I'm afraid as they don't supervise any visits, and for that reason I recommend to everyone that you get a local keyholder sorted out as soon as possible. We now have Rob and Joanne from Fairways looking after our apartment and have complete peace of mind.
