This thread really only applies to those who have lodged their cases against Huma through Andersons

Are you staying with Andersons, or Miguel?

I've had emails from both, and need to make a decision - I would rather go where the majority of you are going!

Further costs and heart-ache are only worth enduring if at the end of it you get something tangeable out of it,a success in the court room does not allways put money in your bank or even pay your costs and legal fees!

But to sit back and do nothing would be unbearable!  At least  going down the right channels makes you feel slightly better about this horrid situation.  It is just unbelievable that Huma continue to get away with this illegal situation.  The lawyers and barristers are also doing very well financially.

Exactly, there are a few out there making some bucks out of our misfortunate ......but that's life I guess.

And as for court cases, why does it always go very quiet once the ball is rolling down the litigation road. We hear nothing or very little of any court cases happening or the outcome of cases.. We all know that the courts have cases piled high. How can we find out what is really going on ...

Oh, just remembered, guess there's not a lot going on, it's close - down for Christmas soon..............

I think part of the reason you dont hear anything is that there is a delay between commencing the law suit and it being heard of between 1 & 2 years.  A year and a half ago HUMA were paying out before they went to court so there were several people getting there money back - but about JUne last year (at a guess) HUMA stopped paying people back.  We now have to wait for those people who started to sue, after that date, cases to come to court.  Also if you remember Murcia courts went on strike last year which put things back.  My solicitor has told we my waiting time is between 8 and 16 months now.

We will only get paid if Humas monies are found or assets that are free of ties are secured so at the moment anyone going down the legal route is just setting themselves up for heartache and more costs  for an outcome that looks like a judgement that is not enforceable..

You maybe right but in the end if you have no bank guarantee what choices do you have?

1) Do nothing and wait to see if ACC gets planning permission and gets built before HUMA goes bust. In my view unlikely.

2) Move over to MCC and pay more for an unfurnished property, in part of the MCC complex which is a long way from all facilities, than you would for a reslale on MCC before you begin to negotiate.   In my opinion the bungalows for sale her are far inferior to the Tariffa I had bought.

3) Transfer to OCC and hope that HUMA have got the right planning and will complete before they go bust or that the insurance guarantee is worth something.  (also hope these properties are not over priced considering its location).

None of these are particularly good alternatives and if you have no BG and are not happy with the offer of an over priced bungalow on MCC and you dont like the OCC site or dont trust HUma and feel that burying your head in the sand like an Ostrich is not for you then you have to sue HUMA and hope for the best.

Personally I hope everyone moves to OCC or MCC - that way HUMA will not owe them any money - will get balances in and may be able to pay me back.

Just discovered that Andersons are the same company that is run by Pablo Anderson, a lot of dodgy dealing going on here with Ocean Estates. If you are an Andersons client chase them up to see where your files are and look at what has happened to your fees paid up front. Would not trust these people at all, plenty have already been duped by them.
